Wild Medicinal Plants
We are pleased to report that we are expanding our Wild Garden, as we indentify with the help of members and friends we catologue our finds and encourage cultivation.
Mid summer heat and we are waiting for a little more showers please! but we are finding a few lovely areas in our Wild Medicinal garden,
Please take a look, at three very attractive plants we can consider planting these at our home gardens, once they are controlled as they can be prolific spreaders: Wild cattle tongue Plucea Odotata ‘‘for fever’, Vervain shrub ‘Stachytarpheta cayennensis’,Yellow Balsam ‘Croton Dryander’

The ANTIGUA & BARBUDA Horticultural Society Centre ANNOUNCES OUR EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
The Antigua Barbuda Horticultural Society is in the process of completing our center at the Agave Gardens with the addition of our green houses, to this end our society is planning to make a difference in horticulture in Antigua we are pleased to announce horticultural and agricultural education in Antigua and Barbuda by offering a variety of training seminars:
Flower arranging in October
Garden design in November
Plant a Local medicinal and tea garden in December
Each series is over a three-week period and meets twice weekly.
The Antigua and Barbuda Horticultural Society is also making an impact on horticultural education with interesting presentations and educational programs at its annual monthly meetings. It is bringing together like-minded people who wish to join together for the enhancement of horticulture on Antigua.
